Based on a comparison of 18 countries in 2017, New Zealand ranked the highest in residential property price index, 1980=100% (USD) with 1,338% followed by Ireland and Australia. On the other end of the scale was Germany with 154%, Japan with 208% and Netherlands with 354%.
