Historically, rice consumption per capita in Lebanon reached an all time high of 16.2 kg in 2016 and an all time low of 7.69 kg in 1981. When compared to Lebanon's main peers, rice consumption per capita in Cyprus amounted to 5.09 kg, 16.0 kg in Israel and 19.8 kg in Jordan in 2017.
