Historically, rice consumption per capita in Lithuania reached an all time high of 3.59 kg in 2006 and an all time low of 0.160 kg in 1992. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, rice consumption per capita in Belarus amounted to 2.84 kg, 2.28 kg in Estonia, 2.57 kg in Latvia and 8.16 kg in Russia in 2017.
