Root and tuber production reached 580 kt in 2014 in Lithuania, according to Faostat. This is 38 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, root and tuber production in Lithuania reached an all time high of 2,044 kt in 1996 and an all time low of 420 kt in 2013. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, root and tuber production in Belarus amounted to 7,029 kt, 152 kt in Estonia, 519 kt in Latvia and 31,107 kt in Russia in 2014.
