Rye production reached 651 kt in 2016 in Belarus, according to Faostat. This is 13.5 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, rye production in Belarus reached an all time high of 3,063 kt in 1992 and an all time low of 648 kt in 2013. When compared to Belarus's main peers, rye production in Lithuania amounted to 76.0 kt, 2,200 kt in Poland, 2,541 kt in Russia and 392 kt in Ukraine in 2016.
