Sales of all tobacco products in pieces reached 2,561 tonnes in 2009 in New Zealand, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 3.54% less than in the previous year.
Historically, sales of all tobacco products in pieces in New Zealand reached an all time high of 7,130 tonnes in 1973 and an all time low of 1,670 tonnes in 1921.
