Sales of manufactured cigarettes in tonnes reached 258,500 tonnes in 2007 in Japan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.26% less than in the previous year.
Historically, sales of manufactured cigarettes in tonnes in Japan reached an all time high of 348,300 tonnes in 1996 and an all time low of 14,690 tonnes in 1945.
