Sales of manufactured cigarettes in tonnes reached 1,705 tonnes in 2009 in New Zealand, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.48% less than in the previous year.
Historically, sales of manufactured cigarettes in tonnes in New Zealand reached an all time high of 6,270 tonnes in 1973 and an all time low of 440 tonnes in 1921.
