Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production reached 0.158 % in 2019 in Slovakia, according to ACEA. This is 10.6 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Slovakia reached an all time high of 0.291 % in 1996 and an all time low of 0.104 % in 2013. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Austria amounted to 0.512 %, 0.388 % in Czech Republic, 0.245 % in Hungary and 0.864 % in Poland in 2019.
