Historically, sales of passenger cars in Poland reached an all time high of 735 thousand in 1991 and an all time low of 236 thousand in 2005. When compared to Poland's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Czech Republic amounted to 250 thousand, 3,607 thousand in Germany, 1,568 thousand in Russia and 88.4 thousand in Ukraine in 2019.
