Sales of passenger cars reached 226 thousand in 2022 in Switzerland, according to ACEA. This is 5.26% less than in the previous year.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Switzerland reached an all time high of 339 thousand in 1989 and an all time low of 90.4 thousand in 1960.
