Historically, sales of passenger cars in Turkey reached an all time high of 757 thousand in 2016 and an all time low of 31.0 thousand in 1980. When compared to Turkey's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Bulgaria amounted to 22.4 thousand and 81.0 thousand in Greece in 2020.
