Historically, sales of passenger cars in Zambia reached an all time high of 3.00 thousand in 2009 and an all time low of 1.70 thousand in 2015. When compared to Zambia's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Angola amounted to 2.76 thousand, 2.33 thousand in Tanzania and 1.31 thousand in Zimbabwe in 2017.
