Based on a comparison of 10 countries in 2008, France ranked the highest in sales of pesticides with 77,255 tonnes followed by Germany and Portugal. On the other end of the scale was Estonia with 459 tonnes, Norway with 720 tonnes and Latvia with 1,052 tonnes.
