Sales of pesticides reached 1,281 tonnes in 2006 in Slovenia, according to Eurostat. This is 7.44 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, sales of pesticides in Slovenia reached an all time high of 1,560 tonnes in 2004 and an all time low of 1,164 tonnes in 2002. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, sales of pesticides in Hungary amounted to 11,523 tonnes and 81,450 tonnes in Italy in 2006.
