Historically, seed cotton production in Mexico reached an all time high of 966 kt in 1968 and an all time low of 41.8 kt in 1993. When compared to Mexico's main peers, seed cotton production in Guatemala amounted to 1.80 kt, 0.746 kt in Honduras and 4,649 kt in USA in 2014.
