Sesame Seed Production in European Union

Sesame seed production reached 1,454 tonnes in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 3.41% more than in the previous year.

Historically, sesame seed production in the European Union reached an all time high of 12,708 tonnes in 1963 and an all time low of 89.0 tonnes in 2001.
