Historically, sheep meat production in Ghana reached an all time high of 20.3 kt in 2015 and an all time low of 3.10 kt in 1962. When compared to Ghana's main peers, sheep meat production in Benin amounted to 6.56 kt, 8.55 kt in Ivory Coast and 5.52 kt in Togo in 2016.
