Small Cars (As % of New Cars Sold) in European Union

Small cars as a share of new cars sold reached 41.2% in 2016 in the European Union, according to ACEA. This is 2.48% less than in the previous year.

Historically, small cars as a share of new cars sold in the European Union reached an all time high of 45.4% in 2009 and an all time low of 35.5% in 2006.
