Strawberry production reached 1,021,703 tonnes in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 9.23% less than in the previous year.
Historically, strawberry production in the European Union reached an all time high of 1,178,904 tonnes in 1999 and an all time low of 323,822 tonnes in 1962.
