Historically, tallow production in Canada reached an all time high of 342,600 tonnes in 2004 and an all time low of 93,400 tonnes in 1962. When compared to Canada's main peers, tallow production in Australia amounted to 585,200 tonnes, 106,000 tonnes in Mexico, 142,300 tonnes in United Kingdom and 3,404,500 tonnes in USA in 2014.
