Tallow production reached 3,014 tonnes in 2014 in Norway, according to Faostat. This is 3.15 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, tallow production in Norway reached an all time high of 3,770 tonnes in 2000 and an all time low of 1,948 tonnes in 1962. When compared to Norway's main peers, tallow production in Denmark amounted to 5,200 tonnes, 5,200 tonnes in Finland, 1,251 tonnes in Iceland and 7,000 tonnes in Sweden in 2014.
