Tax revenue reached MYR 154 bil in 2020 in Malaysia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 14.5% less than in the previous year.

Historically, tax revenue in Malaysia reached an all time high of MYR 181 bil in 2019 and an all time low of MYR 42.4 bil in 1999.
