Tea consumption per capita reached 0.560 kg in 2013 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 1.75% less than in the previous year.

Historically, tea consumption per capita in the European Union reached an all time high of 0.740 kg in 1968 and an all time low of 0.500 kg in 1990.
