Based on a comparison of 16 countries in 2022, South Korea ranked the highest in tobacco consumption per capita of 15+ years old with 1,589 grammes followed by Germany and Hungary. On the other end of the scale was Costa Rica with 128 grammes, Finland with 438 grammes and Ireland with 631 grammes.
