Based on a comparison of 20 countries in 2016, France ranked the highest in total domestic use of white wine with 8,691 1,000 hl followed by Italy and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Luxembourg with 2.00 1,000 hl, Malta with 6.10 1,000 hl and Latvia with 22.1 1,000 hl.
