Based on a comparison of 13 countries in 1999, Italy ranked the highest in total domestic uses of table wine with 30,032 1,000 hl followed by France and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Luxembourg with 50.0 1,000 hl, Finland with 62.0 1,000 hl and Sweden with 288 1,000 hl.
