Total Expenditure on Education (As % of GDP)

Based on a comparison of 32 countries in 2011, Cyprus ranked the highest in total expenditure on education as a share of GDP with 8.40% followed by Malta and Denmark. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 3.10%, Romania with 3.10% and Bulgaria with 3.80%.
