Total Public Expenditure on Primary Level of Education (As % of GDP)

Based on a comparison of 33 countries in 2011, Iceland ranked the highest in total public expenditure on primary level of education as a share of GDP with 2.48% followed by Cyprus and Ireland. On the other end of the scale was Romania with 0.490%, Germany with 0.660% and Bulgaria with 0.710%.
