Historically, turkey meat production in Cyprus reached an all time high of 1,573 tonnes in 1992 and an all time low of 72.0 tonnes in 1974. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, turkey meat production in Egypt amounted to 11,466 tonnes, 1,330 tonnes in Greece, 99,149 tonnes in Israel and 46,501 tonnes in Turkey in 2016.
