Uranium production reached 23,800 tonnes in 2015 in Kazakhstan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.91 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, uranium production in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 23,800 tonnes in 2015 and an all time low of 1,000 tonnes in 1997. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, uranium production in China amounted to 1,616 tonnes, 3,055 tonnes in Russia and 2,385 tonnes in Uzbekistan in 2015.
