Historically, vegetable consumption per capita in Chile reached an all time high of 134 kg in 1979 and an all time low of 67.8 kg in 2011. When compared to Chile's main peers, vegetable consumption per capita in Argentina amounted to 68.2 kg, 32.2 kg in Bolivia, 50.9 kg in Paraguay and 52.1 kg in Uruguay in 2013.
