Historically, vegetable consumption per capita in Myanmar reached an all time high of 84.6 kg in 2011 and an all time low of 19.2 kg in 1961. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, vegetable consumption per capita in China amounted to 328 kg, 77.5 kg in India, 131 kg in Laos and 49.4 kg in Thailand in 2013.
