Virgin olive oil production reached 3,414,847 tonnes in 2014 in the World, according to Faostat. This is 20.8% more than in the previous year.
Historically, virgin olive oil production in the World reached an all time high of 3,488,907 tonnes in 2012 and an all time low of 931,298 tonnes in 1962.
