Based on a comparison of 44 countries in 2017, China ranked the highest in wind capacity as a share of worldwide wind turbine capacity with 31.9% followed by USA and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Iran with 0.037%, Argentina with 0.047% and Tunisia with 0.048%.
