Greasy wool production reached 11,900 tonnes in 2014 in Brazil, according to Faostat. This is 1.18 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, greasy wool production in Brazil reached an all time high of 37,100 tonnes in 1972 and an all time low of 10,777 tonnes in 2005. When compared to Brazil's main peers, greasy wool production in Bolivia amounted to 6,641 tonnes and 10,650 tonnes in Peru in 2014.
