Greasy wool production reached 10,650 tonnes in 2014 in Peru, according to Faostat. This is 3.18 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, greasy wool production in Peru reached an all time high of 13,121 tonnes in 1970 and an all time low of 9,300 tonnes in 1993. When compared to Peru's main peers, greasy wool production in Bolivia amounted to 6,641 tonnes, 11,900 tonnes in Brazil, 7,904 tonnes in Chile and 4,000 tonnes in Colombia in 2014.
