Greasy wool production reached 888 tonnes in 2014 in Poland, according to Faostat. This is 11.3 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, greasy wool production in Poland reached an all time high of 17,699 tonnes in 1986 and an all time low of 620 tonnes in 2010. When compared to Poland's main peers, greasy wool production in Czech Republic amounted to 320 tonnes, 13,250 tonnes in Germany, 53,914 tonnes in Russia and 3,801 tonnes in Ukraine in 2014.
