Greasy wool production reached 2,524 tonnes in 2014 in Serbia, according to Faostat. This is 7.22 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, greasy wool production in Serbia reached an all time high of 2,720 tonnes in 2013 and an all time low of 2,385 tonnes in 2011. When compared to Serbia's main peers, greasy wool production in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1,304 tonnes, 1,034 tonnes in Croatia, 3,820 tonnes in Hungary and 18,813 tonnes in Romania in 2014.
