Historically, workers' remittances paid in Albania reached an all time high of 280 USD mil in 2008 and an all time low of 4.14 USD mil in 2003. When compared to Albania's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Greece amounted to 881 USD mil, 63.4 USD mil in Kosovo, 27.4 USD mil in Macedonia and 70.4 USD mil in Montenegro in 2017.
