Historically, workers' remittances paid in China reached an all time high of 20,422 USD mil in 2015 and an all time low of 2.00 USD mil in 1983. When compared to China's main peers, workers' remittances paid in India amounted to 6,959 USD mil, 5,283 USD mil in Japan, 20,610 USD mil in Russia and 67,964 USD mil in USA in 2017.
