Historically, workers' remittances paid in India reached an all time high of 6,959 USD mil in 2017 and an all time low of 9.14 USD mil in 1976. When compared to India's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Bangladesh amounted to 45.8 USD mil, 16,178 USD mil in China, 121 USD mil in Pakistan and 944 USD mil in Sri Lanka in 2017.
