Historically, workers' remittances paid in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 4,212 USD mil in 2007 and an all time low of 6.60 USD mil in 1995. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, workers' remittances paid in China amounted to 16,178 USD mil, 476 USD mil in Kyrgyzstan and 20,610 USD mil in Russia in 2017.
