Workers' remittances paid reached 63.4 USD mil in 2017 in Kosovo, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.97 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, workers' remittances paid in Kosovo reached an all time high of 172 USD mil in 2004 and an all time low of 63.4 USD mil in 2017. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Albania amounted to 106 USD mil, 27.4 USD mil in Macedonia, 70.4 USD mil in Montenegro and 273 USD mil in Serbia in 2017.
Kosovo has been ranked 120th within the group of 142 countries we follow in terms of workers' remittances paid, 36 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
