Historically, workers' remittances paid in Peru reached an all time high of 275 USD mil in 2000 and an all time low of 20.6 USD mil in 1987. When compared to Peru's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Bolivia amounted to 117 USD mil, 1,124 USD mil in Brazil, 177 USD mil in Chile and 223 USD mil in Colombia in 2011.
