Historically, workers' remittances paid in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 135 USD mil in 1980 and an all time low of 6.24 USD mil in 1994. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Botswana amounted to 67.9 USD mil, 219 USD mil in Mozambique, 1,033 USD mil in South Africa and 121 USD mil in Zambia in 2017.
