UNIQA pojišťovna is Czech Republic-based insurance company, a daughter company of Austria's UNIQA Insurance Group. The Company offers life and non-life insurance and related services through a range of sales channels including 180 branches, brokers, banks or direct sales. At the end of 2012, UNIQA employed 720 persons and had a market share of 3.6% on the Czech market. UNIQA Insurance Group is Austrian holding company operating in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. Raiffeisen Zentralbank is the major shareholder in the Company with a 31.4% stake.
