Investments & Pensions

Investments presents statistical characteristics about size and structure of households' assets and their liabilities, including trends. Commonly examined data include size of households' financial assets (such as assets in investment funds, life insurance or pension funds, all in absolute or relative terms compared to GDP or capita), and non-financial assets (mainly of residental dwellings or land). Compared to households gross assets, you will find information regarding households' debt which comes mainly from the mortgage and consumer lending. When put together, households' net assets are calculated. Also in this section, you should find information regarding pension funds (such as volume of assets, number of participants, or contribution from the employer or employees), institutional investors' assets, or details regarding the Stock Exchange (such as number of domestic companies listed, their market capitalisation or trading volumes)
