Banca Commerciala Romana made a net profit of RON 668 mil under revenues of RON 2,888 mil in 2017, up -35.9% and 0.687% respectively compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of RON 2,033 mil in 2008 and an all time low of RON -2,800 mil in 2014. The average profit in the last five years amounted to RON 84.1 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of RON 5,237 mil in 2009 and an all time low of RON 1,402 mil in 2001. The average revenues in the last five years reached RON 3,244 mil.
Comparing Banca Commerciala Romana with its closest peers, Banca Transilvania generated a net profit of RON 1,239 mil with revenues of RON 2,966 mil in 2017, BRD Groupe Societe Generale netted RON 1,406 mil (revenues of RON 2,786 mil) and Raiffeisen Bank Romania announced a net profit of RON 510 mil (revenues of RON 2,127 mil).
