Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 78.2 mil in 2012 and an all time low of EUR -8.46 mil in 2009. The average profit in the last five years amounted to EUR 64.4 mil.
The bank generated its shareholders an average return on equity of 9.70% in the last five years with maximum at 12.0% and minimum at 6.11%
When compared to bank's main peers, VUB Banka generated a net profit of EUR 164 mil with ROE of 11.2% in 2015, Slovenska Sporitelna netted EUR 185 mil (ROE of 13.0%) and Tatra banka announced a net profit of EUR 121 mil implying ROE of 12.1%.
